10.Edge vs John Cena - TLC (Unforgiven 2006)


The main feud heading into Unforgiven was between WWE Champion Edge and John Cena. The two were evenly matched, each with a victory. Cena defeated Edge by disqualification at Saturday Night's Main Event, and Edge had beaten Cena at SummerSlam to retain his title.On the August 21, 2006 episode of Raw, Lita, Edge's girlfriend, threw Cena's customized belt, which had a spinning center plate of the WWE logo, into the Long Island Sound.

The central feud heading into Armageddon was between WWF Champion Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and Rikishi inside a Hell in a Cell for the WWF Championship. At No Mercy Kurt Angle won the championship from The Rock in a No Disqualification Match. Kurt would later retain the title against The Undertaker at Survivor Series and again at Rebellion in a Fatal Four Way Match against The Rock, Rikishi, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Commissioner Mick Foley would later announce on SmackDown that Kurt Angle would defend his title inside a six-man Hell in a Cell match.

The 1998 Hell in a Cell match was a professional wrestling match between The Undertaker and Mankind, also known as Mick Foley, of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), and the third held inside the Hell in a Cell structure (two weeks following the second, which took place on the June 15 episode of Raw is War to promote the pay-per-view's dual main-event). On the February 16 episode of Raw, Michaels challenged JBL to a match, with the winner advancing to WrestleMania to challenge The Undertaker to attempt to end his undefeated streak at the event.On the February 23 episode of Raw, Michaels defeated Layfield, but it was later announced that another competitor would stand in his way to prevent him from advancing to the show in the form of Vladimir Kozlov, who also made a challenge to The Undertaker;the two wrestled the following week on Raw with Michaels defeating Kozlov, and earning his match with The Undertaker.
